Lafayette, LA – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana (BGCA) announced October 27th that Kate Labue has been named Director of Resource Development for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana.
As head of Resource Development, Kate is responsible for assisting the organization in finding partners to assist with supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs mission in the six current locations and their expansion in Natchitoches, Louisiana, in 2022. Her role will include execution of partnerships and resource development for the organization, in support of organizational mission and goals.
Kate, an attorney, and Lafayette Parish School Board member, previously served as CEO of the Acadiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen, overseeing operation, grants, fundraising, and marketing in nineteen (19) parishes, including St. Landry, Iberia, Vermilion, Calcasieu, and Lafayette parishes that have Boys & Girls Clubs. In her current role, she will do strategic reach to supporters in our region, while overseeing the marketing and events of the organization, to ensure the sustainability and growth of the organization.
